ROAD TRIP – definition – taking a trip by any form of transportation that involves leaving the city in which you live.

No matter what culture you come from, “road trip” is a term that most often brings a smile to your face. Whether it’s a trip to your hometown for the weekend or to your ancestor’s resting place or whether it’s an adventure to the mountains, the beach or the forest; getting out of town is great for your soul. We have now made it possible to do an English learning ROAD TRIP!

ESL SUMMER CAMP ROAD TRIP DETAILS

AGE: 15 to 23 year olds

All Inclusive 5 Week Camp – July 4 to August 7
or the All Inclusive 4 Week Camp from July 11 to August 7.

ESL Road Trip Details:

Both our Road Trip ESL Summer Camps start in Calgary, travel across the Rocky Mountains, and finish in Vancouver.  The only difference between the two camps is the amount of time spent in Calgary and Vancouver respectively.  For the 5 week summer camp you spend 2 weeks in Calgary exploring the cleanest city in the world in 2015, home of the 1988 Winter Olympics, the world’s second largest rodeo and fair (the Calgary Stampede) and much more.  Then for a week you will camp and travel 1500km from head across the Rocky Mountains.  Travel through Banff, experience the Columbia Icefields and walk on a glacier.  Swim in crystal clear mountain lakes, camp in a tent in alpine campgrounds, horseback ride, white water raft and so much more.  Once you arrive in Vancouver you then have 2 weeks to enjoy one of the most amazing and beautiful cities in the world.  Sail in Vancouver harbour, climb Grouse Mountain and ride the gondola, standup paddle boarding, zip treking, Capilano suspension bridge and shop the famous boutique and brand name stores on Robson Street.

5 Week Road Trip: $6990 ALL INCLUSIVE.

4 Week Road Trip: $6390 ALL INCLUSIVE.

85 hours and 175 hours of activities including horseback riding, whitewater rafting, sailing, standup paddle boarding, neon bowling, roller skating, ice skating, zip trekking, all your food, accommodation, and English instruction.

Gourmet “Chef’s” will prepare the food for the students in the SAIT residence complex. These are actual Chef’s in training who will take food orders from students and prepare them on the spot. The food is delicious and the interaction to order their food from a native English speaking chef is excellent for the students language learning.

ROAD TRIP 1 WEEK

Summer Camp Road Trip Accommodation
Camping Trip – sleep in tents and various camping spots between Calgary and Vancouver
Summer Camp Road Trip Food
Eat in diners and cafes and restaurants. Have healthy breakfasts of fruits and cereal and cook your own meal from time to time on an open fire. This is a great experience and a highlight for many of our campers.
Summer Camp Road Trip Activities
Mountain biking, canoeing, kayaking, learning about the great outdoors, camping, trekking, hiking, and sightseeing are among just a few of the amazing activities that our road trip students will take it. The road from Calgary to Vancouver is absolutely magnificent with stunning mountain views of snow capped peaks and beautiful crystal clear glacier lakes. This is one of the most beautiful roads to drive in all the world.
